2025 Shelby Rotary Club 4-Person Scramble

Congratulations to the team of Tom French, Terry French, Ty French, and Weldon Mclain for winning the 2025 Shelby Rotary Club 4-Person Scramble with a two-day total of 118 (60 & 58).
This season marked 40 years of the Shelby Rotary Club hosting this two-day event! With a full roster of teams, beautiful spring weather all weekend, and the support of the community, this year’s tournament was another resounding success. Proceeds from the scramble will go directly toward the Rotary Club’s ongoing campaigns, scholarships, and local assistance funds. Thank YOU for four decades of fellowship and fundraising.
Day one presented sunny skies, but a chilly day-long NE breeze, however the scores seemed unaffected, with four teams shooting a low of 59, and 58 out of the 62 team field shooting-in under par. The second day offered warmer conditions throughout the day, and the scores showed that with a slightly lower average score by .4 of a stroke (ave. 66 Saturday, ave. 65.6 Sunday).
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for the 41st Annual Scramble!

Per the rules sheet, "In the case of a tie, Saturday’s cards will be compared hole-by-hole starting with the lowest handicapped hole."
All winners within flights (prize schedule posted on scoreboard) are paid in golf shop prize merchandise credit to golfers’ club accounts on file, balances accessible by email. On-course games are paid in dozen golf balls, redeemable in pro shop. Skins are paid in cash, redeemable in the pro shop. Please contact the pro shop to inquire about your winnings.
